Sr. IT Project Manager

**Job Purpose**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Documents project objectives and ensures they meet expected business results/outcome.
- Communicates with involved departments and management; facilitates communication forums including team meetings.
- Creates project plans including: resource tracking, assignments, tasks, dependencies, deliverables and milestones, due dates, predecessors, budget and financial tracking, issues management.
- Assembles project steering committee(s) and communicates regularly and effectively with management on project progress.
- Coordinates project meetings with relevant team members.
- Facilitates change management activities.
- Provides leadership of project teams and interdepartmental management to achieve project objectives.
- Performs additional duties as assigned
- Meets attendance and punctuality standards

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:

- Minimum 7 years project management experience leading large multi-disciplined projects of a transformative nature
- University Degree in Computer Science/Programming Specialties/Major Subjects
- Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.
- Able to create and conduct formal presentations.
- Able to avoid win/loss situations and ensure productive resolutions of conflict.
- Able to adjust readily to change and adapt as needed.
- Able to express ideas clearly and convey necessary information.
- Able to facilitate group interactions.
- Able to identify needs and opportunities and develop action plans to address.
- Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.
- Able to set high short/long-term goals/standards of performance for self, subordinates, and others.
- Able to think strategically and tactically. Able to be attentive and foster two-way conversation.
- Able to maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting internal and external business activities.
- Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Possesses strong leadership skills with a willingness to lead, create new ideas, and be assertive.
- Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.
- Experience working on teams including senior management
- Experience in financial management/ budgeting including ROI analyses
- Leadership experience
- Experience with project management tools (e.g. MS Project)
- Experience with LEAN or Six Sigma preferred*Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
