Supplier Quality Engineer

**Job Summary**

Supplier Quality Engineer mission is to ensure quality in supplier management and compliance of products delivered by suppliers, according to procedures and guidelines established by Quality Assurance.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Review change controls (_Engineering Change Requests-_ECRs and _Document Change Request_-DCRs) related to suppliers, and carry out related actions.
- Manage reception guidelines for products by suppliers.
- Review rejections of batches received from suppliers to determine the impact on the product.
- Manage deviations issued by suppliers and deviations detected in Receiving Inspection.
- Provide data for KPI - _Key Performance Indicator_ reports of supplier-related activities.
- Manage modifications and updates of local standards, procedures & work instructions, as a consequence of the implementation of global corporate procedures and other changes.
- Manage the analysis of metal raw materials for implantable products, according to internal procedures.
- Perform the management of SPPA - _Supplier Production Process Approval._
- Participate in product transfer-in/out processes with suppliers or other sites of the corporation.
- Manage CAPA _-Corrective and Preventive Actions_, derived from supplier non-conformities.
- Participate in industrialization projects of new products or changes in existing products.
- Carry out supplier evaluation reports and registration/update of suppliers in the SAP Quality Management module (QIR).
- Participate in the review of supplier non-conformities, according to internal procedures.
- Coordinate SCARs - _Supplier Corrective Action Report_, issuance corrective actions, communication, review and closure of suppliers.
- Write and run TMVs - _Test Method Validations_.
- Participate in the performance of supplier audits and internal QMS - _Quality Management System_ audits.
- Manage changes in suppliers through SCN - _Supplier Change Notification._

**Education/Experience Requirements**
- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position, especially in a multinational environment.
- BSc in Engineering, Operations, Science, or related field. Postgraduate studies in Quality, Management, or related field, is an asset.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and medical device regulations 13485, Medical Device Regulation (MDR) 2017/745.
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
- Good computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office (including Excel)
- Excellent planning, detail-oriented, organization and prioritization.
- Ability to take decisions, analysis and problem-solving.
- Ability to build relationships with other areas of the company.
- Excellent communications and diplomacy skills are required to ensure positive professional relationships with suppliers.
- Strong attention to details and multitasking.
