**Descripción de la oferta**: JOB PURPOSE:

- To work with the Senior Leadership Team in producing the

school’s timetable
- To maintain the school’s timetable and student information

system
- To arrange day to day and long term cover for lessons in

respect of absent teaching staff due to illness or pre-approved
activities
- To assist in the smooth and efficient operation of the school

SIMS data management systems
- To work with the MIS Manager on the collection and analysis of

both internal and external data in order to identify areas for
intervention in terms of student progress and attainment
- To advise the Principal and Senior Leadership Team on

timetable requirements to enable them to make staffing
decisions on the deployment of resources.
KEY DUTIES:
Timetable
- To produce and maintain the school’s annual timetable under

the direction of the member of the Senior Leadership Team
responsible for timetable and in conjunction with the Senior
Leadership Team and Heads of Faculty.
- To co-ordinate, collate and schedule student information in the

construction of the timetable.
- To continually improve and enhance the systems and

procedures which are of relevance to this post.
- To attend the necessary courses relating to assessment and

timetabling and to share this information with appropriate
colleagues
- To produce the school’s annual staff and room timetables and

all duty rotas under the direction of the Senior Leadership
Team
- To ensure the accurate maintenance of student curriculum data

in SIMS
- To advise the Senior Leadership on timetable-related issues
- To attend relevant meetings
- Such other duties, within the competence of the postholder,

which may be required from time to time.
Cover
- To book supply teachers through supply agencies when

required and liaise with supply staff and agencies
- To accurately manage cover on SIMs at all times
- To check, process and record all invoices related to cover
- To maintain the supply teachers’ cover pack in an up-to-date

and accurate condition
SIMs
- To provide advice and training on all areas of SIMS for all staff
- To lead and assist on SIMS related issues and implementation

of new developments
- To attend relevant meetings

Data, Information Handling, Reporting
Key areas:

- To lead on the collation and distribution of all progress and

tutor reports to all relevant parties
- To ensure Heads of Faculty are familiar in the use of SIMS to

centralise department data in order to facilitate accurate
student tracking systems
- To administer parents’ evenings and tutor evenings, as required
- To attend relevant meetings

**Experience**:

- A high level of understanding of data coordination and its

complexities
- Evidence of numeracy and logic skills
- Qualifications /Training
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
- Practical skills
- Excellent ICT and data management skills
- Ability to deal with a large volume of data, prioritise work load and

meet strict deadlines
- Ability to maintain high standard of accuracy and have a calm

methodical approach to work whilst working under pressure
