PREDOCTORAL RESEARCHER POSITION TO WORK ON INNOVATIVE ION SEPARATION PROCESSES AND ELECTROCHEMICAL CONVERSION TECHNOLOGIES FOR A SUSTAINABLE BATTERY MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY

**Description**

The requirements are as follows:
**Tasks Description**:

- Research on innovative materials for ion separation/capture and pollutant removal.
- Synthesis, formulation, and electrochemical characterization of electrode materials.
- Use of advanced characterization and analytical techniques such as SEM, XRD, XPS, N2 Adsorption Isotherms, Raman, FTIR, Gas Chromatography, Ion Chromatography, etc.
- Manufacturing components for electrochemical cells.
- Assembly and testing of electrochemical cells.
- Communicate and disseminate research results through high-quality scientific channels including high impact scientific publications, presentations in conferences, etc.
- Supervision of Master or undergraduate studies.

**Requirements**:
**Compulsory Requirements**:

- Oficial Master Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Physics, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering finished in the last three years
- Bachelor degree in Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar.

**Other merits to value**:

- Specific training or hands-on experience in treatment process of wastewater/urbans, liquid effluents.
- Specific training or hands-on experience in recycling processes.
- Specific training or hands-on experience with electrochemical technologies.
- Hands-on experience with materials characterization and analytical techniques.
- Experience in writing scientific publications.
- Oral and written communication skills in English.

**Selection Criteria**
- Work experience related to the profile of the job position.
- Knowledge of English.
- Motivation for accomplishing high-quality research.

**Conditions**
- Remuneration: Between 21.000€ - 23.500€ per year, depending upon qualification and expertise.
- The contract includes all the benefits of the Spanish Public Health and Social Security System.
- Contract: 1 year, possibility of annual renewals depending on performance
