Smadex is one of the fastest growing DSPs and we are adding talent to fuel our ambitious plans for 2025 and beyond.
We are looking for a **Programmatic Performance Analyst** to join our Ad Operations team, **managing and optimizing**a portfolio of in-app user acquisition, retargeting, and/or CTV campaigns on Smadex DSP to meet client goals through strategic setup, testing, and daily performance monitoring.
**This is a full-time position based in Barcelona**
**Your Tasks and Responsibilities**:
- Leverage programmatic ecosystem and attribution knowledge to build, operate, analyze, and optimize campaigns, following the best strategies to achieve our clients’ goals.
- Manage and grow your own mobile app client portfolio, working across a variety of verticals, KPIs (CPMs, IPMs, CPIs, CPAs, ROAS, etc.), and budgets. The focus is highly performance-driven.
- Analyze large, complex datasets containing the behavior of millions of mobile users worldwide to inform strategic and operational decisions.
- Obtain insights from our campaign portfolio to make decisions that will directly impact our company's revenue.
- A/B test different variable changes using the Smadex DSP and share the results among the team to continuously improve performance.
- Help develop and improve our product tools and processes to ensure data influences decisions at all levels of the company. Effective communication is required.
**What We're Looking For**:
- 1.5+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of **digital programmatic buying** (performance-focused) on mobile app campaigns (user acquisition, retargeting, and CTV) is a big plus.
- An analytical mindset with a strong understanding of cohort analysis and customer acquisition metrics, including ROAS, CPM, IPM, CPI, CPA, APRU, etc., is a big plus.
- Knowledge of attribution rules and MMPs is a big plus.
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree, preferably in Engineering; Business or Economics is also acceptable.
- A data
- and performance-driven mindset and proven work experience with** large datasets**, including an understanding of analytical methodologies for data evaluation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze key metrics to optimize campaigns and meet clients’ KPIs.
- The ability to adapt and adjust to regular changes in priorities, given the fast-paced nature of our environment.
- Feedback-hungry, critical thinking, high problem-solving skills, autonomy, and a strong work ethic are a must.
- Excellent command of **Microsoft Excel.**
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken, are mandatory.
- Proven ability to solve data-related problems using creative thinking.
- Experience working with different teams.
- Basic** SQL**level.
- Python/R experience is a plus.
- A desire to build the biggest company in the world.
