Our mission is to help build political consensus on the need to address climate change and to empower people across society to work together in shaping practical solutions.
We are seeking a **People & Culture Officer** to support the effective delivery of day-to-day people operations across Our Common Home’s global network.
The role is responsible for ensuring that core HR processes are well-run, compliant, and consistently applied across a growing organisation operating in multiple countries and employment models. This is a hands-on, operational role focused on execution, coordination, and reliability.
The People & Culture Officer works closely with the People & Culture Director and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth people operations that enable teams to focus on impact.
**Key responsibilities**
The People & Culture Officer will be responsible for:
- Managing contracts and employment administration across multiple countries
- Coordinating onboarding and offboarding processes for employees and consultants
- Acting as the primary point of contact with Employer of Record (EOR) providers
- Managing leave administration, HR documentation, and day-to-day people operations
- Maintaining accurate people data, records, and reporting to support compliance and internal oversight
- Coordinating recruitment processes in collaboration with external search support
- Acting as the first point of contact for hiring managers on recruitment processes and timelines
- Supporting performance management cycles through tracking, documentation, and data coordination
**What we are looking for**
**Essential**
- Experience in HR operations, people operations, or a generalist HR role
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience working with contracts, HR systems, and people data
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in an international, fast-paced environment
- Clear, professional communication and a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach
- Fluency in English
**Desirable**
- Experience working with Employer of Record (EOR) providers
- Exposure to recruitment coordination or performance management processes
- Experience in NGOs, startups, or distributed organisations
