**The Role **:**Location**:While this position is posted in a specific location, all of Oyster's positions are fully remote and you can work from home. Forever.**
Oyster is looking to hire a Senior Manager to lead our Accounts Payable function. At Oyster, the AP function, and especially vendor data management, is critical to the success of the company and this role will play an important role in maintaining healthy relationships with vendors and partners.
The Senior Manager will play a leadership role in the formulation of purchase-to-pay strategies and processes.
This role will start with 3 direct reports and will report to the Director of Finance Operations.
**What you'll do**:
- Responsible for day-to-day ownership, handling and maintenance of critical vendor data
- Play a key leadership role in implementing a global purchase-to-pay strategy
- Manage at least 3 direct reports
- Reporting to the director of finance operations
**What we're looking for**:
- Proven experience of leading a Purchase-to-Pay(P2P) team in a global, complex environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Has proven successful in managing a team of 3 or more
- Superb attention to detail
- Finance certification or equivalent qualification required and relevant job experience to be able to prioritize accordingly
**Bonus Attributes**:
- Proficient in Google Suite of products (Gmail, Google Doc, Google Sheets)
- Positive and proactive attitude, excited to roll up sleeves & build something
- A good sense of humor and willingness to assist others no matter how small the task
- Within the GMT or EST timezone preferred but not mandatory
