Your task would be to perform oversight of daily operations in “BAA Training” Lleida (Spain) Flight Training base. Acting as a part of our Safety team and working under framework of SMS, you will be responsible to control that instructors and students adhere to operating and occurrence reporting procedures, escalate safety issues and facilitate timely resolution of these. We expect that you are proficient in a flight school operating environment and hold (or have held previously) pilot’s license at least on a level of PPL, preferably with FI rating.

**We promise a highly challenging field and wide scope of responsibilities, which will initially cover**:

- Provide on-site assistance to Safety Manager performing SMS administration duties;
- Ensure timely collection and administration of the SMS related data and evidences;
- Facilitate submission and processing of occurrence reports and risk assessments;
- Provide assistance during follow-up and investigation of safety-related occurrences;
- Assist fostering of Positive Safety culture if the Flight Training base;
- Provide support for instructors and students on procedures in connection to SMS;
- Perform on-site inspections and audits as per defined checklists
- Working according to approved company processes
- Working with company’s IT systems to monitor and ensure a smooth safety processes.
- Participating in daily meetings based on Lean principles
- Setting and achieving short-term and long-term goals in accordance with the company’s strategic goals
- Performing other duties and responsibilities assigned by direct manager
