Decommissioning Licensing Engineer

**Responsibilities**:
- Licensing and Regulatory support during decommissioning and dismantling activities for nuclear plants and facilities.
- Planning and execution of decommissioning and dismantling activities for nuclear plants and facilities.
- Understanding of the radiological characterization, segmentation techniques, in-plant materials lifting, handling, sorting and packaging according to the nuclear requirements.
- Working with designing and planning of dismantling processes, specifying equipment, writing technical and licensing documentation, estimating costs and durations, and supervising execution activities in the field.
- Working on projects in Europe (mainly in Spain) with potential opportunities in Japan, Korea, Canada, and the USA.
**Minimum Requirements**
- Education at university level in engineering or science degree.
- Additional training or specialization in the nuclear field would be valuable.
- Some experience in nuclear facilities licensing processes is required.
- Some experience in the decommissioning of nuclear facilities would be an added value.
- Good writing and speaking skills in Spanish and English are required; proficiency in French, Dutch, Italian, and/or German would be beneficial.
- Experience with databases, design of sampling plans, and use of geostatistical analysis codes would also be beneficial.
