We reimagine the possible across the nuclear industry every day.About the RoleAs a Project Quality Senior Engineer you will establish and implement Project Quality requirements and a Quality Assurance Program for assigned projects. You will report to the Quality Analyst Lead and be located at the Madrid headquarters in San Sebastián de los Reyes with a hybrid work schedule (remote and in-office). This is a full-time role.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the Product Line project scopes for project development, engineering reviews for Quality aspects, and field and construction site project functions, including related vendor activitiesOversee the Quality Assurance (QA) Program and the processes that support manufacturing development and production activitiesOversee the supplier's implementation of the approved Quality Assurance Program for manufacturing, fabricating, assembling, designing, or constructing activities to ensure the Westinghouse Purchase Order requirements are met by suppliersManage implementation of Business Unit quality policies in compliance with customer requirements, codes, and standardsReview engineering requirement documentation to verify compliance with technical QA requirements for design, manufacture, construction, installation and decommissioning of nuclear installations structures, systems and components, and modifications thereof, and for non-nuclear projectsWork directly with customer to integrate Westinghouse plans and procedures with customer requirementsReview requisition materials and supplies as they relate to the customer requirements ensuring that the appropriate level of nuclear safety standards is met and maintainedRecommend and influence operations to take appropriate corrective actions, resolve quality issues and implement performance improvementAudit, correct, and document potential quality problemsQualificationsEngineering Bachelor's degree or scientific degree (Mechanical, Physical, Chemical, Mathematics, Electrical, or Nuclear)5+ years of professional experience in the nuclear industryKnowledge on reading and interpreting drawing and specificationsKnowledge of nuclear quality standards: UNE 73 series, 10CFR50 App. B, U.S. NRC Regulatory Guide series, ANSI/ASME NQA1, Supplements and Appendices, ISO 9001Lead Auditor CertificationFluent in English and SpanishBenefitsAttractive remunerationHybrid model of workHigh flexibility and autonomyGreat benefits for your convenience and safety:Peer-to-peer recognition programLunch allowancePrivate health insuranceEmployee Assistance Program: confidential counseling and resources for employees, eligible dependents, and household membersLearning and development opportunitiesCommunity service events and other team-building activitiesGet connected with Westinghouse on social media: Twitter | Facebook | LinkedIn | YouTubeWestinghouse is an Equal Opportunity Employer including Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities.Employment opportunities may require access to information which is subject to the export control regulations of the United States.
