**Role purpose**
- To manage delivery of complex and strategic internal projects to deliver tools, process changes or other improvements.
- Ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to high levels of quality, using project management methodology and company standard processes.
- You will be required to manage multiple projects, therefore a high degree of time management is needed.
**Key accountabilities**
- Takes responsibility for the definition, documentation and successful completion of small / medium sized projects, directly contributing to Colt strategy with limited complexity, directing and counselling project team members, and advising customers/stakeholders as necessary on all phases.
- Maintains effective financial and project progress forecasting, and reports as appropriate.
- Monitors and controls allocated human and material resources, associated revenue costs and all capital costs against the project budget.
- Ensures that a change control procedure is in place, and actively used to assess the effect of changes to the projects on costs, timescale and/or resource needs and reports these to project sponsors.
- Ensures that projects are formally closed and, where appropriate, subsequently reviewed, and that lessons learned are captured and appropriate action taken. Produces appropriate documentation to support these processes.
- Builds and manages a virtual team from various geographies and engages teams/contacts from across Colt and vendors as required.
- Demonstrates control of assigned projects against the key parameters of schedule, risk, finance, scope at all times during the project lifecycle
- Ensures all key PM documentation is developed and maintained, including PID/Project Brief, Project Plan, Risk and Issues register, weekly reports, stakeholder reports, Lessons learned etc. The project managed could be part of a larger program managed by a program manager and the documentation requirements would be customised as per the program requirements

- Establishing a single point of contact for the sponsor for the duration of the project and agreeing escalation paths for all stakeholders
- Managing all communication during the project life cycle ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the project.
- Managing internal and external suppliers to deliver the project on time and within cost tolerances.
**Quality and Process**
- Ensuring that all project documentation is maintained to a high standard and that all project deliverables meet the sponsor’s expectations of performance and quality.
- Ensuring that financial systems and project reporting tools are maintained to reflect the state of project progress.
**Key performance indicators (financial and non-financial)**
- Project milestones executed as per baselined schedule
- Project is run within committed budget
- Project scope delivered as per sponsor requirement
- Project deliverables meet the quality and signoff requirements of sponsor and operational teams
**Role specific requirements**
**Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Project Manager managing multiple projects
- Direct experience of working in a structured project environment
- Delivery of projects in an IT or telco business environment
- Experience in business transformation is desirable
- Demonstrable business and financial understanding. Must have a good understanding of Colts business, its customers and market drivers
- Effective communication (verbal, written, listening) presentation and management reporting skills
- Personal drive, highly self-motivated and self-organised
- Excellent Team Player and ability to work in an international team
- Flexibility and creativity
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
**Qualifications
- APM, PRINCE2, Agile or other industry recognised project management qualification
- University degree desirable
