**Position Overview**:
As an IT Operations Director, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the technology infrastructure and operations of the organization. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth functioning of IT systems and services, aligning them with the overall business objectives.
**Language **:Fluency is must in two languages : 1) Spanish and (2) English (written, speaking)
Key aspects of the job:
1. Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with the organization's goals.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to define technology roadmaps and future initiatives.
2. Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage a high-performing IT operations team.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
3. Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure.
- Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of systems and networks.
4. Operational Efficiency:
- Identify opportunities to optimize IT processes and workflows.
- Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
5. Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the IT operations budget.
- Monitor expenditures and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
6. Vendor Management:
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with technology partners.
7. Security and Compliance:
- Implement and enforce security protocols to safeguard the organization's data and systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
8. Incident Response:
- Develop and maintain IT incident response plans.
- Lead the response to critical incidents, ensuring mínimal impact on business operations.
9. Technology Evaluation:
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and assess their relevance to the organization.
- Make recommendations for technology investments and upgrades.
10. Communication:
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on IT operations and projects.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and align IT solutions accordingly.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum Years of IT Experience - 18 Years
- Proven experience in a leadership role within IT operations.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, security, and emerging technologies.
**Mandatory Skills**
Architecting experience in Any telecom billing System or Subscription based billing system.
Should Have at least 2 implementation experience of Mediation, Rating, Billing Payment and Collection Modules.
Should have good knowledge and implementation experience Billing system Integration. Integration system includes CRM,Product Catalogue, Order Management, Financial Systems
Should have worked on of Open API’s to integrate with surrounding systems
Should have fair amount of knowledge in TMF Open API’s for Charging and Billing.
Should have good Transformation and Migration experience in Telecom billing products.
Proactively providing solutions to satisfy customers commercial and functional business needs.
Participate and lead client workshops to define implementation strategy
Detailed understanding of Telecom industry standard business practices
Independently delivering, and where necessary leading, all activities throughout the end to end project life cycle, covering Design, Build, Testing, UAT, and Go Live Support
Demonstrate best-practice consultancy capabilities throughout all engagements.
Ability to work independently and be a self-starter, prioritize, multitask and perform effectively under pressure.
