Application Transition Director

**Position Overview**:
**Language **:Fluency is must in two languages : 1) Spanish and (2) English (written, speaking)
**Key Responsibilities of Transition Director**:
**Transition Strategy & Planning**: Developing and implementing a transition plan that addresses any risks and dependencies associated with the transition. This may include identifying any potential issues and developing strategies to mitigate them, as well as coordinating the transfer of knowledge, processes, and assets from the existing vendor
**Stakeholder Collaboration**: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business units, to understand their processes, risks, dependencies and ensure a smooth transition process. Cultivate strong relationships and clear communication channels with stakeholders at all levels.
**Transition Communication & Reporting**: Responsible for communicating with and coordinating with various stakeholders, including management, teams, customers, and vendors, to ensure a smooth transition. This will involve providing regular updates on the progress of the transition and addressing any questions or concerns that arise. Facilitate and leading transition meetings
**Qualifications**:
- More than 15 years of IT/project management experience including IT service transition and management of project team across multiple vendors & and multi-location teams (across globe)
- Ability to identify and manage risks and dependencies, and develop strategies to mitigate them
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically
- Exceptional leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to analyze complex technical challenges related to BSS and OSS.
- Ability to work with multiple vendors and managing the various vendors & their contracts
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is highly desirable.
- Strong project management skills and experience in managing large, complex IT Telecom projects involving multiple vendors
- Must be **Fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written).**
