**Description**:
Additionally, proficiency in Azure cloud networking and Virtual WAN is crucial for this role. The Senior Cloud Network Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our cloud-based network environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design, deploy, and manage network architecture utilizing Cisco, Meraki, and Palo Alto technologies.
- Implement and maintain Azure cloud networking solutions, including Virtual WAN configurations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design scalable and secure network solutions.
- Configure and optimize network performance, ensuring high availability and low latency.
- Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPN configurations.
- Monitor network traffic and performance, identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks and security threats.
- Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution to minimize downtime and impact on operations.
- Document network configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure consistency and facilitate knowledge transfer.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance network infrastructure.

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on cloud-based environments.
- Strong proficiency in Cisco, Meraki, and Palo Alto networking technologies.
- Extensive experience with Azure cloud networking and Virtual WAN configurations.
- Solid understanding of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF).
- Hands-on experience with network security technologies, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption protocols.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze complex network issues and implement effective solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Azure certifications) preferred.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
- We prefer someone located in Mallorca (or willing to relocate) who can combine in-office work with several days of remote work, but we can also consider the possibility of hiring someone willing to work 100% remotely from anywhere in Spain
