With a turnover of €320 million and a staff of 1,200, it exports approximately 40% of its total production principally to the Middle East, North Africa and Latin America. **Job Description**: We are seeking an RF Subsystem Engineer to join an enthusiast team in charge of designing, developing and testing Space Flight Communication Subsystems. Key responsibilities may include: - Participate actively in the architectural design of the RF subsystem. - Dimension/analyse the RF subsystem to achieve the required performances. - Perform trade-off studies and analyses for subsystem hardware selection - Prepare test procedures, test reports, test plans. - Generate Specification for Subsystem Hardware, and EGSE. - Support subsystem harnessing and interface design. - Support AIT planning and execution. - Support test plan and procedure creation to validate subsystem performance - Lead subsystem design reviews and support subsystem technical reviews. - Provide technical leadership on non-conformances, issues, risks, and requirements waivers Required Skills and Experience - Relevant experience in the development and validation of RF & data transmission subsystems (>2 years) - Requirements management and verification planning - RF system design (ADS or similar) - RF Link budget Analysis - Power budget analysis - Team player, accountable and proactive - Flexible and versatile; prone to learn and develop new competences - Capable to solve engineering problems within risk, cost & schedule constraints - Willing to face challenges - Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment Desired Skills and Experience - Experience in space sector is a plus. Knowledge of space programs design rules and standards - Significant knowledge of modulation schemes, error correction coding, characterisation of communication links (channel distortion, EVM, BER, FER) - Use of test instrumentation: Spectrum Analysers, Network Analysers, Signal Analyzers, Logic Analyzers, Data Patterns Generators, Oscilloscopes, BER tester,.. - Knowledge of RF simulation software like HFSS / CST / Mician. Qualification: Telecommunication Engineer (MSc), or equivalent, with specialisation on radiofrequency electronics.
