Hardware Design Engineer / Subsystem Architect – EU Security Cleared – Satellite/Aerospace/Defence/Government industry Long term freelance / B2B contract opportunity for a Hardware Design Engineer / Subsystem Architect to join our leading client in the Aerospace/Satellite Communications industry on one of the EU’s most critical flagship Satellite Communication projects. The purpose of this project is to provide next generation communication and internet connectivity services to all EU Member states, Governments, Private sector businesses as well as citizens of Europe.The role of the Hardware Design Engineer/Subsystem Architect will be to define subsystem requirements and specifications for multiple digital hardware subsystems (boards and electronic equipment) throughout the entire lifecycle of the project.Due to the highly secure and critical nature of this project, we are seeking someone who holds an active EU Security Clearance. To be successful in this role, we are seeking candidates who have previous experience with the below requirements:Understanding of the full digital electronic equipment development lifecycleProduce / Design SchematicsPCB Design (ideally Altium Designer)Design and Verification experience with high-speed SerDes interfacesExperience implementing FPGA, RF-SoC, ASIC, and processor-based designsExperience in any of the following industries: Telecommunications, Satellite, Aerospace, Government, DefenceThis role is hybrid working, with weekly on-site presence required in Luxembourg (and travel outside of Luxembourg as per project requirements).This is a business critical role so please apply immediately if this sounds like the next role for youSeniority level Mid-Senior levelEmployment type ContractJob function Information TechnologyIndustries: Government Administration, Aviation and Aerospace Component Manufacturing, and Telecommunications#J-18808-Ljbffr
