**Position Snapshot**:
In order to complete our Security and Compliance Department, we are currently looking for a **Data Scientist **to join the Cyber Security Analytics team within the Cyber Security Operations Center.

**Position Summary**:
In this position, you will be able to build brand new end to end Machine Learning products focused on detecting new cybersecurity threats. The scope of the ML and data pipelines that you will build will not only take care of the data preparation and the model building components but also will deal with the product operationalization with MLops in order to deliver resilient and reliable systems in production. Most of the datasets you will need to deal with are large by nature and therefore big data technologies will be a critical part of your job: extracting data from a Data Lake and processing it with Spark will become a daily routine for you. As part of a highly autonomous and agile team, you will need to develop data products using best practices and relying heavily on CI/CD pipelines to ensure that all ML products are easy to deploy, maintain and monitor.

**A day in the life of...**:

- Preprocessing, cleansing and analysis of structured and unstructured data.
- Build machine learning models to uncover new security threats.
- Identify relevant data sources that are critical for solving specific business needs.
- Analyze large amounts of data to find trends and patterns to help answer specific questions.
- Implement end to end Machine Learning products from ideation and prototyping to its deployment in production.
- Communicate analytic solutions to stakeholders and implement improvements as needed.

**What will make you successful**:

- Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or other quantitative fields.
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst.
- Basic understanding of well-known Machine Learning techniques.
- Strong programming skills using either Python or R.
- Strong software engineering skills.
- Experience analyzing diverse and large datasets.
- Experience with SQL and No-SQL databases.
- Problem - solving aptitude.
- Self-initiative and ability to work with little supervision.
- Fluent in English.
