**Job Summary**:
The Automation & Electrical Engineering is a department within Automation and Solutions supporting automation and electrical engineering activities across Iberia and South Europe.

We support projects centers and Services team with high quality automation competences including Automation Project Leaders, Electrical Project Leaders, Automation Engineering and Electrical Engineering.

We are looking for an experienced Automation Manager who will have an important role in leading the teams in our Spain, Portugal, Italy and Greece offices.

The position is permanent and ideally based in Arganda del Rey (Spain) or Monza (Italy) although other Tetra Pak locations will be considered. The job will require up to 20% travelling.

**What you will do**:
As Manager Automation & Electrical Engineering, you will manage the Automation and Electrical teams in Iberia and South Europe to ensure that the demands for Capital Equipment projects are fulfilled as well as the Service part after projects.

You will focus on:

- Ensure close collaboration with Automation and Solutions function and within regional Automation and Digital organization, Project Centre functions and Market Company Sales Leaders.
- Lead the team of specialists based in Spain, Portugal, Greece, Italy.
- Implement technical/operational functional strategy to meet business needs
- Drive short term resource and competence planning to match business needs
- Follow and implement functional operational standards
- Develop a high performing team
- Contribute to decision-making around technical / business issues
- Deliver on organization KPIs
- Deliver Projects On Time On Budget With Quality
- Lead the development of engineering know-how within the expertise domain
- Deliver on Employee Engagement & people development
- Develop key relationships with internal stakeholders

**We believe you have**:

- Minimum 5 years working experience from leading technical teams for projects in an industrial environment, ideally the food industry.
- A very good command of English, both written and verbal is a must. Spanish and/or Italian language is a strong plus
- Familiarity with Automated Food plant engineering and associated components.
- Contractual and commercial knowledge/expertise.
- Skilled with the preparation/understanding of tenders for food processing solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.
- Effective coach.
- Proven leadership and motivation skills.
- Able to communicate with customers at all levels and capable of managing their expectations.

You are a well-structured person with a strong drive for results with the ability to work independently as well as in team. You have an analytic mindset and can find common solutions. Of course, you possess excellent communication skills and the ability to create and maintain relationships, as the work includes close contacts with customers, suppliers, and colleagues. In this position you’ll manage a relatively big group of high-skilled individuals, therefore we believe you are an experienced people manager with a sound background and experience of managing team to deliver successful automation solutions in Tetra Pak.
