We’re looking for a **Senior Project Engineer** to join our European Plant Projects Organization (PPO). If you're passionate about delivering complex engineering projects that make a real impact, read on.

**Role**o**verview**

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will** lead small to mid-sized plant projects (up to $2M) across Southern Europe and CECA regions**. From initial development through to execution,** you’ll be at the helm of projects.** You will ensure each project is delivered on time, on budget, and always with safety as a top priority. Your leadership will be the driving force behind successful, high-quality outcomes.

**You** will do this by**:

- ** Lead full-cycle project executio**n** - play a dual role from project development to project execution
- ** Execute plant projects** across SE & CECA regions
- Report to management and stakeholders on project status.
- ** Ensuring operational excellence** following company standards and procedures
- ** Collaborate with cross-functional teams** (engineering, business, operations, supply chain) and external contractors.
- ** Work closely with business**area and line management to develop the opportunities and meet the requirements of the scope of supply.
- ** Own project performance**: schedule, budget, quality, and safety.

**What you** will** bring**:
✔ **Degree in Engineering** and 5+ years’ experience in project execution (ideally in industrial gases or plant projects)

✔**General technical knowledge** across disciplines: process, machinery, electrical, and PICS.

✔**Experience managing cross-functional teams** and leading on safety, scope, cost, and scheduling

✔ Good interpersonal, organizing and coordinating skills

✔** A hands-on,**structured approach** with the flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances

✔ **Strong communication** and collaboration skills—internally and with customers

✔ Resilience, **problem-solving mindset**, and a drive to see projects through

✔** Willingness to travel**: short site visits (1-3 days) and longer assignments (up to several weeks)

**Nice to have's**

➕ Experience with cryogenic or hydrogen systems

➕ Familiarity with SAP and AutoCAD
