**Cardiovascular Diseases Research Group**

VHIR offers a vacancy/vacant position for a Statistical Researcher within the Laboratory of Cardiovascular Diseases.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Education and qualifications**:
**Required: -**

Statistical Degree or equivalent (i.e. master in statistical analysis, data science etc)
- Focused mainly in Health Care research (not exclusively)

**Experience and knowledge**:
**Required: -**

Advanced level STATA and R. Advanced level hierarchical database structure (redCap and similar).
- Advanced knowledge in survival analysis and inferential statistics. Knowledge and experience in multilevel

analysis, landmark, propensity score....
- Proficiency in classical statistical packages (R, Minilab, SPSS, SAS, S-Plus).
- Knowledge in analysis of quality of life questionnaires (factor analysis...).
- At least 2 years of experience in statistical analysis support.

**Desired: -**

Knowledge in AI (machine learning, deep learning) is a plus

**Main responsibilities and duties: -**

Statistical analysis:
- Advising on statistical analysis of clinical and observational trials.
- Execution of statistical analyses. Technical support.
- Support for database development, data management and data cleaning.
- Analysis of quality of life questionnaires

**Labour conditions: -**

Full-time position: 40h/week
- Starting date: immediate
- Gross annual salary: 24.700,00 (Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are
consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale).
