Key job responsibilities - Align change management activities with the current Project Management Office (PMO) plan for planned Amazon projects - Own the process/ tools and mechanisms for Change requests to be raised, evaluated, concluded within SLAs - Identify process defects through stakeholder feedback and audits. Facilitate cross functional mechanisms to minimize defects in a measurable way - Review new change requests from corporate and site stakeholders against existing standards - Identify and address customer and business pain points by actively deep diving into data and operational processes and working with cross-functional teams - Work with Global Engineering Services (GES) and partner SME’s to identify cost reduction and cost avoidance opportunities, through processes to evaluate change requests, and facilitating lessons learnt from changes at a network level - Lead process improvement projects and development of new tools to better support the business - Schedule and moderate multiple weekly standing meetings with internal teams to obtain or share information and approve changes; coordinate information between various teams in the organization About the team The Change Management Team is a pillar within the Central Services Team of the EMEA GES (Engineering Services org). The team's focus is 1) To drive a customer friendly Change Management process and services to our internal customers (site delivery teams) in terms of decision velocity, process clarity and access to information. 2) To Maximize value to the business through multiplier effects of changes across the network (vis a vis single site changes), by driving standardization 3) To ensure a process with thorough evaluation of change requests, which leads to cost avoidance of changes that are not as beneficial/ impactful Barcelona, ESP - SQL, Power BI or query or programing knowledge and experience - Experience of working in a Fulfillment center (Engineering services, Operations, Process or construction roles) or similar set ups in other organization - Good working knowledge of AutoCAD or any other Design Software (BIM360, Revit etc) - Experience with engaging with stakeholders or customers locally and across diverse geographical location - Ability to work independently, within tight timelines and with a strong attention to detail - Additional EU languages or Arabic would be beneficial qualifications - Excellent meeting management and facilitation skills - Strong critical thinking and analytical skills - Ability to support several projects at one time, and accept re-prioritization as necessary - Ability to drive business decisions with cross-functional team collaboration and relevant analytical data - Proven experience challenging the status quo, identifying and driving continuous improvement initiatives - Ability to tailor communication to a wide spectrum of members of the organization and explain technical concepts
