We want you to develop your skills, expand your knowledge and be proud of your work. : **Objective of the position**: We are looking for a **Business Unit Pricing and Market Intelligence Manager** for Spain and Portugal. This position will provide for the southwest region [Spain & Portugal] Commercial business unit [truck, bus, agricultural and off the road tires] with proper expertise and pertinent insight on the company pricing strategy and the market actions that should be undertook. The position is a member of the leadership team of SWR´s Commercial business unit. The Business Unit Pricing and Market Intelligence Manager is an innovative and modern role with high level of responsibility and accountability. It will have three main **responsibilities**: - First, **gather market information** on a monthly basis to monitor level of market sell in, stock levels in the trade, sell on/sell through, and sell out levels. - Second, based on the first point, be responsible for designing, planning, executing, and adjusting a successful and profitable **pricing strategy**, all via an optimized and harmonized channel and customer structure; and through a deep understanding of the commercial and financial impact of pricing. - Third, **propose market actions, including marketing campaigns** to leverage opportunities or mitigate risks. For the management of marketing campaigns will be supported by the marketing team. Responsible for building up the structure of sell in conditions (for all brands & Commercial products) in order to achieve the objectives of the business unit, he/she will follow up the appropriate price management, identifying/anticipating potential key issues and ensuring the targeted sales profitability. Respecting Bridgestone headquarters´ guidelines and targets is a mandatory condition to operate. With the strictest adherence to competition law, supervising price competitiveness and evolution in comparison with our main competitors in the market, proposing proactive actions (monthly sales campaigns, deciding on requests for quotation, and monitoring intake of purchase orders collection vs monthly target) to secure our compliance with the company strategy/objectives. He/she will brief, on an ongoing regular basis, the leadership team of the business units and the company about demand trends and the current market situation, so that decisions can be made based on his/her recommendations. **Requirements**: - **University degree**: Business Administration or Economics - **I&T literacy**: high level in Microsoft Office, including handling efficiently large volumes of data - **Programming skills** to improve efficiency when handling data are a plus - Previous market and pricing experience, preferably in the automotive industry (additional advantage if in the tyre sector). - **Experience** coordinating with European or global head office in a multinational setting. - **Languages**: English advanced: written and spoken / Portuguese: written and spoken / Italian: it is a plus **MORE INFORMA
