We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused **Senior Localization Project Manager** to lead our **Scalability workstream**, driving the evolution of localization operations in a fast-paced, global EdTech environment. This is a strategic role that combines hands-on project management with operations leadership, focusing on building scalable processes, managing cross-functional workflows, and driving operational excellence across our localization ecosystem.

**What you'll be doing**:
**Operations Leadership**
- Lead the scalability workstream, developing and implementing strategies to scale localization operations efficiently
- Design and optimize end-to-end localization workflows that adapt to new content types and evolving business needs
- Drive capacity planning initiatives, including resource forecasting, utilization optimization, and demand management
- Establish and maintain operational metrics and KPIs to measure scalability success

**Project Management Excellence**
- Manage complex, multi-language product localization projects from initiation to delivery
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing) to ensure seamless process integration
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent initiatives
- Collaborate closely with the Quality stream to ensure scalable quality assurance practices

**Team Leadership & Development**
- Lead and mentor 2+ project managers, providing guidance on best practices and career development
- Provide strategic oversight and guidance while empowering PMs to independently manage their assigned domains
- Foster a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement

**Vendor & Process Management**
- Provide guidance on development and implementation vendor management strategies, including hiring criteria, onboarding processes, and engagement models
- Streamline internal and cross-functional processes to reduce bottlenecks and improve efficiency, including pricing models and vendor mix
- Lead process documentation and standardization initiatives

**Technology & Innovation**
- Partner with tech teams to strengthen tooling foundations and automation capabilities
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI for scale and quality improvements
- Drive adoption of new technologies and tools that enhance operational efficiency
- Support the implementation of systematic quality practices through technology

**What you need to succeed**:

- 5+ years of localization project management experience, with at least 2 years in senior/lead roles
- Proven track record of scaling localization operations in fast-growing tech companies
- Strong background in vendor management and external partner relationships
- Experience leading and developing project management teams
- Demonstrated expertise in process optimization and operational efficiency
- Experience in leveraging AI solutions and leading adoption to operationalization
- Familiarity with localization tools, CAT tools, and project management platforms
- Strong analytical skills with experience in capacity planning and resource forecasting
- Professional fluency in English
- Native level proficiency in Polish, Japanese or Korean is a plus
- Experience in EdTech or marketplace platforms desirable
