As a consequence of the continuous growth and development of projects in our organization, we are seeking for an Environmental Junior Consultant in the area of Operational Performance Services, covering the following services: Management systems and compliance support, permitting, sustainability and reporting services, and EHS Auditing.

Your main responsibilities and tasks will be:

- Support the development of EHS compliance and management systems in accordance with ISO, IFC, EBRD and other industry specific standards and good practices.
- Provide comprehensive support for environmental compliance activities.
- Provide technical assistance on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)/sustainability developing benchmarking studies and sustainability strategies.
- Assist corporate clients to respond to annual questionnaires and reporting requirements, such as the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), applicable regulations on disclosure of non-financial information, etc.
- Conduct environmental, health and safety compliance and management audits.
- Delivering multiple project tasks or components, including the development of proposals.
- Understanding the interrelationships between ERM services and policies and how these are applied within the business model(s).
- Establishing strong working relationships with clients through project delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, or related discipline and Master's degree in environmental engineering, industrial engineering, environmental science, or environmental discipline such as environmental management, sustainability or climate change.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in environmental management and sustainability related services with deep knowledge of environmental regulations.
- At least 1-2 years of experience and management systems and legal compliance auditor.
- Knowledge on ISO management systems standards and IFC Environmental and Social performance standards, as well as on Sustainability reporting standards and regulations.
- Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills; experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports.
- Fluency in Spanish and English languages is mandatory Other languages (French, Portuguese or Italian) will be considered as a plus.
