**The role**

This is a Lab Technician position to study the role of X-chromosome inactivation for oocyte development in vitro from mouse embryonic stem cells. In a previous study (Severino et al., EMBO J 2022), we found evidence that X-inactivation is critical for meiotic and oogeneic potential. In this project we want to test this directly and gain insight into the mechanism of this phenomenon The role would be to assist in bringing this ongoing project to completion and publication.

This position will continue the work of Bernhard Payer lab but will be incorporated in the Tissue engineering facility.

**Professional experience**

**Must Have**
- You have at least 1 year of experience in mouse stem cell culture and differentiation
- You have proven experience in Molecular Biology assays such as PCR and cloning, IF, Microscopy, CRISPR
- Theoretical Background in Stem cells, Epigenetics

**Education and training**
- You hold a Masters in the Stem cell and epigenetics field

**Languages**
- You are fluent in English

**Technical skills**
- MS Office, Google Docs, Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop / Affinity designer or equivalent, R
- Mammalian Cell culture

**Competences**
- Highly developed organizational skills
