**Job Purpose**:
Fluidra is hiring an “IoT Projects Automation Tester” within its overall software organization, reporting to the “EMEA Digital & IoT QA Manager”. This role will be responsible for improving, expanding and maintaining the automated testing for the EMEA IoT Projects.
**Key Role**:
- Fluidra IoT Projects consist of Android&iOS apps that allow pool professionals and owners to interact with IoT devices and other software services, aiming to improve the pool and wellness experience. The goal of the IoT Ecosystem is to increase the profitability of the Pool-Professional by offering features and services, adding value to Fluidra products. As well as giving the Pool-Owners what they need to have the perfect connected pool experience.
- The main purpose of this role is to improve, expand and maintain the automated tests that help us to ensure the quality of our solutions. That will include automated testing for: APIs and services that we host at the AWS Cloud, Android&iOS apps, IoT devices integration, integrating other third party services (for example: our solutions include in-app customer care services to give our users live support), etc.
- There will be, mainly, a close interaction with the other QA Team members, the Frontend & Backend Development teams and with the Apps Design team.
The position reports directly to the “EMEA Digital & IoT QA Manager” based in Spain (Sant Cugat del Vallès) in order to develop a consistent quality assurance strategy
**Responsibilities**:
Our team needs to incorporate an agile and motivated person to:
- Ensure and be responsible for broadening the automated testing coverage in our IoT projects, targeting different software layers and perspectives (functionality, usability, performance, security, scalability, etc).
- Be keen on occasionally rolling up his/her sleeves to do final E2E tests with real devices in our IoT Lab, being able to collaborate to detect flaws and to improve the end user experience.
- Embed in the DevOps mindset to continuously check the quality of our projects all over our development environments.
- Ensure effective and consistent communication throughout the team, encourage feedback and transparency, adhering to agile methodologies.
- Identifying and instilling best practice, processes and systems and driving a continuous improvement environment.
- Report to Upper Management, progress, plans, and problems to upper management and other involved parties.
- Identify risks for a new product/version release and propose plans to mitigate it.
**Competences**:
This team is made up of a multidisciplinary team with extensive experience in the IoT (End to End) section and we are looking for an experienced and dynamic person, results-oriented and disciplined, who will enrich us and help us improve in QA.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Fluent English both written and verbal is a must have. French and/or Spanish speaking would be a strong plus.
