About the team you are joining
The Manager, Consulting, is responsible for the business development as well as managing and delivering consulting projects in the field of Safety, Flight operations, Civil aviation and Air Traffic Management (ATM)/Cargo Network Services (CNS) in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
What your day would be like
Develop IATA consultancy services portfolio in the Safety, Flight operations, Civil aviation and ATM/CNS domains, and execute strategic business plans in collaboration with the sales and marketing groups;
Identify competitive and non-competitive consulting opportunities in the Safety, Flight operations, Civil aviation and ATM/CNS domains; develop responses to expression of interest/contract proposals; and negotiate, until contract closure, consulting projects in line with the budgetary targets;
Evaluate and negotiate partnership opportunities with consultancy firms for specific consulting engagements;
Manage the execution and/or delivery of aviation consultancy projects in the Safety, Flight operations, Civil aviation and ATM/CNS domains using best practices;
Prepare annual budgets and monthly financial projections; submit reports and regular updates on progress, accomplishments, financial status and plans as requested;
Maintain knowledge and understanding of latest trends and developments in in the Safety, Flight operations, Civil aviation and ATM/CNS domains and provide continuous recommendations for existing product and service improvements and new product development.
We would love to hear from you if you have
A University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Business Administration, Economics or Engineering;
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience as an aviation consultant and/or project manager for international aviation projects;
Excellent understanding of key issues of the aviation industry related to safety topics and IATA safety audit programs;
Detailed knowledge and experience of the civil and military regulatory environments for Air Traffic Management (ATM);
Detailed knowledge of SESAR program and Eurocontrol missions;
Experience with the implementation of PBN related projects would be an advantage;
Experience dealing with C-Suite executives including formal presentations of findings;
Excellent PC skills, particularity with MS Office Programs (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and MS Project;
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of a third language such as Spanish, French or Arabic would be an advantage;
Project management and analytical skills;

Flexible team player;
Openness to travel (25%).
