For one of our international clients, we are looking for a Black Utility Engineer who will be based in Belgium.

About the job

With a strong experience in industrial environments, you will be able to carry out the Design for Black Utilities for industrial projects. Your relevant experience with dimensioning utility installations will allow you to execute the full process, from analysis and design to the procurement and realization.

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Basic and detailed engineering of Black Utilities based upon design deliverables of the other disciplines (Process and user Requirements, HAZOP )
- Elaboration of technical deliverables as specifications, equipment datasheets, hydraulic diagrams, equipment lay-outs
- Supply the required engineering data systematically to the other engineering disciplines (Civil & Structures, Process, Clean Utilities, HVAC, Mechanical & Piping, E&I, Automation)
- Manage the spatial coordination of process equipment and pipelines on the project lay-out and the 3D models, in strong collaboration with the Draft & Design team
- Delegation and supervision to the IPS back-office, who will support you in performing the detailed design and 3D modelling
- Supporting the project management team during the procurement activities with technical expertise
- Authors supervision and Contract management during the realization phase
- Respecting project budgets and deadlines
- Reporting to Project Manager and Engineering manager
- Technical coordination with other engineering disciplines

As you are working in an international company, short international mobility is a requirement for missions abroad.

**Requirements**:

- You have an engineering degree (civil or industrial) in Electro-Mechanics with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
- You are assertive, flexible, creative, and motivated. You are able and willing to take initiative, and you are also a team player.
- You are rigorous, anticipative and stress resistant, with good communication skills
- Any experience in Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage, Chemical and/or Primary Industries is an asset.

 - Expertise on other building utilities (fire protection, drains/sewage, electrics) are a plus
- Software knowledge: Microsoft Office, HAP, AutoCAD (REVIT MEP is a plus)

**Languages**:

- You are fluent in English.
- Other languages which are a plus are Dutch, French, German and/or Spanish.
