We are looking for a **Design Quality Engineer **in Terrassa:
**Tasks:
- Customer requirements analysis, participate in the product definition, internal design reviews and validation plans, support technical reviews at customer premises, assure the fulfillment of product quality requirements.
- Be the window to the customer in all matters related to quality along all project stages.
- Assure that the product development is done following the internal procedures and fulfilling the quality gates, perform verification of project work products and deliverables.
- Lead the DFMEA confection with all the project team
- Define the product Control Plans and take part in the control systems and tools definition, as well as its validation.
- Manage the Engineering Parts Delivery (internal and to the customer) assuring it’s quality, traceability and required documentation
- Manage problem resolution through 8D methodology when required
- Assure the correct problem management in the issue tracking tool (JIRA), gather metrics and issue follow up reports.
- Follow up product validation results and problem status from validation team, report to customer.
- Support the deployment and improvement of development processes within the business unit.
**Requirements:
- Academic background: University Engineering Degree (Telecommunications, Electronics, Physics, Mechanics, etc)
- Languages: Advanced English required (spoken & written). German highly appreciated.
- Work Experience: Highly appreciated to have experience in the automotive industry. Desired two years of experience in a similar position (or QA role)
- Desired Know-how: DFMEA and PFMEA, APQP, 8D problem solving, Control plans, PPAP, Automotive SPICE, IATF16949, ISO-26262
- Travel availability
