We are looking for a reliable Project Development Engineer, who will provide support to the current product development projects for our technology platforms, happening through the 3 group companies (in Spain, Italy and China).

The goal is to foster and accelerate R+D activities to drive the evolution of the technology platforms through delivering value adding disruptive innovation to our clients on time, in full and as promised.

**Duties and Responsabilities**:

- Manage the Development and Certification of all the Electrical / Electronic devices and components of our Platforms. The development could be done in Europe or in Far East.
- Liaise with suppliers and specialists’ partners to define and develop new components to support the execution of the projects. Identify appropriate partners when required.
- Manage product development efficiently and effectively.
- Release and update all the Technical, Production and Quality documentation related to the electrical/electronic devices.
- Liaise with factories to field technical questions and monitor the product development and industrialization.
- Liaise with global MAT Group team to support, resolve issues and progress the development of the products.
- Liaise with global MAT Group Quality Function to put in place appropriate QA/QC procedures and resolve production non-conformities.
- Liaise with MAT Group Research team to support in the innovation projects.
- Sponsor product and process continuous improvement, proposing ideas, finding corrective actions and monitoring their implementation.

**Education and Experience**:

- Engineering Degree preferably in Electronics or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years working experience in Technology or product development, preferably in consumer goods.
- Experience in dealing with suppliers, factories, and customers.
- Experience in managing multiple product developments in parallel.
- Experience in dealing with China manufacturers and suppliers.
- Knowledge of required certifications (CE, FCC,,..) desirable.
- Electronic design expertise desirable.
- Experience with wireless communication devices (not only Bluetooth, also zigbee, RF, mesh ) desirable.
