Networking Solution Technical Consultant

**In a typical day as Networking Solution Technical Consultant, you would**:

- Provide a detailed technical design (high level design plus low level design) for enterprise networking solutions.
- Be responsible for implementing part or all of the technical solution to the client for networking, in accordance with an agreed technical design. Should have a good knowledge about a broad spectrum of HPE and non-HPE NW technologies in order to provide part or all of a detailed technical design which integrates them in the global solution, meeting customer requirements.
- Start to lead medium size and complexity technical projects, working with and under the direction of the Project/Technical Manager and with customer nominated representatives.
- Liaise with HPE Solutions Architect as appropriate. Participates in pre-sales activities by collaborating on technical proposals with Solution Architects and Business Developers.- Provide advice on solution and integration opportunities to defined segments.
- Provide technical leadership on specific integration activities that are part of a project.
- Provide planning and design support for the development of solution architectures that will be implemented in a multiple system environment.
- Interact across client community and is viewed as adding value. Demonstrates execution of the HPE strategy.
- Contribute to knowledge management tools and communities and ensures project learnings are documented and shared.

**If you are...**
- 5+ years experienced and holding a Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree in computer science, telecommunications or related area of study.
- Fluent in English
- Experienced on Networking solutions and technologies from the main players and vendors on this area. Will be valuable to be in possession of certificates.
- Aware of the best-known solutions and the most prestigious manufacturers of network security solutions: Firewalls, IPS, etc.
- Aware of the best known solutions and the most prestigious manufacturers of network optimization solutions: Broadband optimization, Load Balancers, etc.
- Aware and breadth of technical knowledge to be individually responsible for the design and scope of deliverables within a project.
- Mastered at least one technical discipline with strong knowledge in at least three major technology areas. Aware of advanced level of business, technical and functional knowledge
- Able to perform/drive resolution of problems on combinations and interactions of integrated products.- Able to communicate and present complex issues with self-confidence.
- Able to conduct/lead face meetings and status/technical interchange meetings with clients in medium to large sized projects.
- Able to translate technical details into concise and easy to understand written form.
- Able to write relevant components of a proposal document (e.g. answering specific RFP questions).
- Able to translate verbal requirements from face to face client meetings into requirements documents, statements of work, and proposals.
- Able to discuss (within NW area of expertise) requirements with a customer, and to challenge and clarify when appropriate.
- Able to develop a high level design or plan, and then estimate the amount of effort required to deliver.
- Able to advise the engagement owner about the risks associated with this work package.
- Able to work with a team to provide written responses to technical proposals and/or reports/documentation for delivery.
