A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an exceptional, talented and driven commercial professional to join our dynamic team and take us to the next level as our new Sales Leader for Central & Western Europe. Aside from being responsible for developing and leading all commercial activities in Central & Western Europe, you will take direct responsibility for the management and development of the Sales Team.
This position will be a member for the European Management Team and as such, will be directly involved in the development and execution of the strategic plan with particular focus on establishing a distinct strategic position within the Sunflower and Sorghum markets.

**Main Purpose**:
Responsible for developing and leading all commercial activities in EU27. This position is a member of the European Management team. The role will be directly involved in the development and execution of the strategic plan with particular focus on establishing a distinct strategic position in the market for new concepts in Sunflower, Sorghum & Carinata.
Responsible for the setting and the delivery of the gross margin and NWC making sure that the targets set are achieved in the financial year.

**Scope**:
This position initially has significant focus on sales creation, strategic planning, workforce building, management of budgets and category creation.
It is expected that, dependent on the outcome of the strategic review, the European organisation is expected to grow over the coming years in line with the 10-year strategy
**Principle Roles & Responsibilities**:
Develop and lead the implementation of long range and annual segment plans to capitalize on Nuseed’s pipeline of hybrids and traits.
Recruitment, development, and retention of a highly motivated team of professionals that position Nuseed in the top quartile for brand and quality image with key farm, distributor and downstream partner customers.
Work across the business functions from business services to R&D to ensure business alignment to key initiatives.
Develop and manage the Nuseed value proposition with respect to key product launches in the region.
Lead account management strategies with major customers, industry bodies and influential groups/government entities.
Accountable for sales budgets, sales forecasts, inventory positions, expenses, and cash collection in the region.
Assist with registration activities in the region.
Work through the local complaints with QA/QC manager to mínimalize the effect of claims against Nuseed.
Develop a robust Sales commercial policy to deliver the planned targets and make sure that Sales contracts are adhered to in country.
Ensure that all payments are received on time.
Build and develop a high-performing sales team.

Meet or exceed individual and departmental strategic milestone, budget, and team objectives
Enabling top quartile sales excellence and customer loyalty strategies
Well defined category and product introduction strategies
Successful launch of new products once registered
Strengthen the brand experience of Nuseed via positive impressions over time
Demonstrated alignment and unity through quality working relationships with the European and Global team
Experience and Qualifications
Agriculture, Business Degree, MBA required
Extensive related commercial experience with product managers, account management, and senior sales reporting to the position
Highly developed skills to motivate, inspire and persuade
Experience with EU27 market development
Experience in developing channel strategies with oil processors, confection processors, feed industry and /or food industry Biofuel/energy experience an advantage
