Creative (Art Direction)

Exoticca is looking for a Creative who focuses on art direction. In this position you’ll be reporting to the Creative Manager and will be partnering with other creatives (Copy writers and Designers) in the creative team on a variety of creative projects. In this role you need to think and execute multi-channel creative ideas. Conceptualization, design, and development of omnichannel content. Proficiency and speed with design programs. Tangible experience of editorial and typographic creation. **Responsibilities**: - A hands-on unicorn creative focusing on art direction that also has great design skills (copy writing skills a plus) - Able to conceptualise creative concepts and translate/execute those concepts into omnichannel campaigns/assets. - Able to liase and brief external art suppliers (illustrator, photographer, videographer etc) - Overseeing the production of creative content, such as commercials, promotional material, and social media content - Ensure that all creative initiatives are aligned with brand strategies and business objectives - Develop and maintain brand identity across a variety of channels, including graphic design, visual content and multimedia channels - Self-motivator, keeps up to date with latest creative trends in design and creativity - Ability to work autonomously, and happy to team up with different creatives. - Understanding of both B2B and B2C creative communication - Able to work as a part of a multidisciplinary team with skills ranging from animation and video editing to photography or illustration. - Flexible and versatile, able to easily adjust to make immediate changes in response to shifting or evolving situations. - Ability to confidently manage multiple tasks at the same time, of variety complexity. - Collaborative problem solver. - Open to feedback, whether from fellow creatives, or people from other departments. - Delivering work of the highest quality after working with team members to develop new ideas. - You combine creative art direction with critical thinking; your analytical approach enables you to ask the right questions to the right stakeholders and lock down ideas from a conceptual perspective. **Requirements**: - University degree/Art Academy or equivalent in advertising or similar + specialization in creativity/design - Proven experience of at least 3 years in creative roles, focused on creative direction, design in a creative agency. - A strong digital portfolio showcasing your work across multiple formats (digital, video, social,etc) is required. - Experience crafting brand voice, tone, and style guides ensuring consistent visual language across multiple touchpoints. - An incredibly detail-oriented and organized person - An ability to adapt quickly and compromise with others without compromising our voice and integrity. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Fluent in English and Spanish is a plus - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. - Ability to work under pressure of tight deadlines and changing priorities. - Based in Barcelona **Benefits** - Highly competitive salary - Flexible work-from-home policy (WFH>30% time). - Discounted gym membership. - Access to free eLearning courses to help you learn and grow. - Free English and Spanish courses. - Free coffee in the office (with many types of milk alternatives). - Office in the heart of Barcelona at Plaça Catalunya with a beautiful outdoor terrace to enjoy on your break. - Monthly company patio parties. - Quarterly team building budget. - Two annual spectacular company parties - Receive a permanent contract from the start. - Travel at reduced prices - Enroll in private health insurance at a reduced rate. - Receive flexible compensation on transportation and food with Cobee. - Receive a referral bonus, if you bring people as talented as you. - And last but not least, join a fun and motivated multicultural team at an agile and rapidly growing organization - Exoticca is an equal opportunity employer.
