IT Support Technician

Fall Creek is creating a world with better blueberries through its friendly, collaborative team spread across the globe. To help us accomplish this, we are seeking a qualified **IT Support Technician**. This position will be located in **Seville, Spain**

The Fall Creek IT Support Technician provides IT and network support to the computer and technology users in the company within their assigned region.

This position is responsible for organizing, modifying, installing, and supporting Fall Creek’s computer systems. This includes the maintenance of computer hardware and software systems that make up the network, including the maintenance and monitoring of active data network or converged infrastructure and related network equipment.

**What you'll do at Fall Creek**:

- Assist computer and technology users with IT issues and requests on a timely basis. Provide a high level of customer service.
- Responsible for providing general maintenance and troubleshooting for all network workstations and peripherals.
- Responsible for hardware and software installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Installs components such as memory, video cards, etc.
- Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting communications systems, including setting up users and answering questions.
- Work and document within a corporate Help Desk Portal.
- Maintain the Microsoft Office 365 Suite of programs.
- Work with Internet browsers and corrects compatibility issues & settings.
- Provide Smart Phone and tablet technical support.
- Assist with updating, maintaining, and troubleshooting network servers, routers, and switches as directed.

**What you bring to Fall Creek**:

- Typically requires an associate degree in Information Systems or related field, or certified course work and 1+ year experience in a similar position providing helpdesk work or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated technical competence via other on-the-job training or coursework.
- Requires a valid Oregon driver’s license and the ability to maintain a valid license plus an acceptable (insurable) driving record as determined by our insurance carrier.
- Regular and reliable attendance at the place of business.
- Ability to lift objects of at least 25 lbs.
