Transport & Installation Manager - Wtg (Senior)

Kinekta are currently working with one of the world’s leading companies in renewable power generation who are hiring for a **Transport & Installation Manager - WTG (senior)** to join their offshore installation and logistics team to support global offshore wind projects at all lifecycle stages.
Offshore Wind is a constantly evolving industry and within this role you will be responsible for the evaluation of assessing potential ports for storage, assembly and load-out of WTG, determining required vessels for WTG transportation and installation, developing logistics concepts with suppliers, specifying contracts, leading negotiations, coordinating and supervising WTG transport and installation, ensuring quality compliance, representing client interests on construction sites, compiling documentation, and managing interfaces with various stakeholders.
The role also involves collaborating with other work packages and projects to share knowledge and experiences.
- BSc or MSc Degree / equivalent in Naval Architecture, Civil Engineering, Marine Logistics or related areas
- Experience in development and construction projects of offshore wind farms
- Proven track record in offshore wind project and package management
- Strong project Management experience in offshore logistics
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, organisational and time management skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Outstanding team player, self-starting and highly motivated
- A flexible approach to work and travel across Europe and APAC regions as required
- Ability to work offshore and work at heights
- Language skills: Fluent spoken and written English
**Desirable experience**:
- Understanding of contract management / contracts used in offshore construction
- Experience in the management of jack-up vessels.
