RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enforce safe systems of work, ensure accountability for health and safety, and provide appropriate PPE and safe working environments
- Guarantee that employees are properly trained, informed, and supervised to carry out their duties safely
- Strive for zero injuries through proactive safety measures, full incident investigations, and compliance with internal and external standards
- Manage Quality Control systems, including site-manufactured batches and maintenance of electronic QC records per ISO standards
- Supervise staff: hiring, training, performance evaluation, disciplinary actions, and professional development
- Own and maintain the Site Quality Plan in alignment with regional and corporate quality requirements
- Monitor and report key quality metrics (e.g., batches, OTMIS, complaints), and drive improvements in product quality and process performance
- Lead audits, resolve non-conformities, support continuous improvement efforts, and provide cross-functional assistance in problem-solving and training
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Chemistry, or equivalent education and experience
- Quality certification or license is preferred
- Minimum of five years’ progressive experience in manufacturing, including supervisory roles
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles and implementation of related programs and policies
- Experienced in investigating and resolving complex product and operational issues
- Experienced in cross-departmental collaboration and leading quality-related activities
- Proficient in auditing, report analysis, and interpreting relevant regulations and internal policies Competent in Microsoft Office and other relevant software; strong communication skills for team coordination
