In your role, System administrators is responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems and servers. Your duties are also to upgrade and manage the software, hardware and networks infrastructure.
As System Administrator you will be reporting to and working closely with the Infrastructure Architect and the IT Project Manager.
Your objective is to ensure that the technology infrastructure is running efficiency and securely
Role
Installing, configuring and maintain servers and networks;
Overseeing system performance and hardware/software troubleshooting issues;
Creating a backup and safeguarding the data if there are any hindrances;
Performing system upgrades following new releases;
Performing setup user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations;
Sustaining network integrity, server deployment, and security;
Monitoring and maintaining network servers such as file servers, VPN gateways and intrusion detection systems; and
Provide documentation and technical specifications
**Requisitos**:
A minimum of 5 years of experience as System Administrator
3-5 years experience of database, network, upgrading hardware and software,
Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware and networking protocols
Experience with scripting and automation tools
Troubleshooting network outages and user troubles
System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network related fields are a plus
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
Oracle Linux System Administrator (Oracle)
Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
Good command in English
Ability to solve problems in stressful situation
