Product Attorney

**ABOUT THE ROLE AND THE TEAM**:
We are a close-knit and collaborative team that enjoys working on fun and challenging projects together. We are looking for a technology-focused, business-savvy, and collaborative attorney to join our global legal team and help us build products that will change the world. The position will be based out of our Barcelona offices. The Product Attorney (you) will report directly to the Global Product Counsel and will work on product, intellectual property, and marketing matters. You will work closely with the teams that build and market our transformative products, advising them as an integral partner.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Work with those building products to ensure the new and existing products are compliant with all applicable laws and appropriately balance innovation and risk.
- Work with those marketing the products to ensure the marketing materials are compliant with all applicable laws and appropriately balance business goals and risk.
- Conduct research on current and future regulatory requirements, including in intellectual property, privacy, consumer protection, and advertising, advising as they relate to our current and contemplated products and services.
- Help manage TKWW’s intellectual property portfolio.
- Support product and product related disputes.
- Conduct product related due diligence for various transactions.

**SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES HAVE**:

- Qualification as Spanish lawyer.
- 6-8 years of experience as a tech attorney in Spain. Experience at both a law firm and in-house is a plus.
- Demonstrable experience handling a wide range of complex product matters, including those listed under Responsibilities above.
- Experience counseling on product legal issues for technology companies, including advising on intellectual property, privacy, consumer protection, advertising and regulatory matters.
- Intellectual property prosecution experience.
- Working knowledge of the DSA, GDPR, ePrivacy Directive, DSM, and other EU regulations and directives that relate to online vendor marketplaces and platforms with user generated content.
- A growth-oriented mindset that shows curiosity and an eagerness to learn.
- Strong collaboration skills both within and across teams.
- Exceptionally organized with an ability to manage multiple projects on aggressive deadlines.
- Fluency in English.

**IT'S A BONUS IF**:

- CIPP/E and CIPP/US certified
- Experience reviewing B2C and B2B marketing materials
- Experience reviewing AI matters, including using third party AI tools and creating AI tools, and working knowledge of the EU AI Act.
- Experience with intellectual property and other disputes and litigation.
- Experience with accessibility, including working knowledge of EU AA.
