**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

**SGTO is looking for a **BUSINESS ANALYST - IT MARKETS RATES BACK OFFICE, based in our BOADILLA DEL MONTE office.**

As a **Business Analyst **you will take on project management responsibilities for the various work streams based in _Rates Back office _. You will be responsible for the ensuring the team deliver a high quality solution that meets the needs of the business both in terms of required functionality but also from a technical workflow perspective. Using industry best practices for documenting and communicating the requirements to both the technical team implementing, as well as to the non-technical stakeholders. Knowledge of the agile process and how to structure requirements to facilitate this is critical to the project’s success. Working closely with the various stakeholders to break the larger stories down into smaller stories to allow the sprint management. You will also be responsible for the roadmap, identifying the key milestones and deliveries and reporting the status and identifying and managing the project risks.

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

- Work with the Credit and Rates desks to elicit and document requirements to deliver the product roadmap
- Work with regulatory teams to ensure regulatory requirements are understood, documented and met.
- Take responsibility of the product backlog ensuring stories are well documented and requirements clearly outlined.
- Work closely with partner technology teams and to collaborate effectively.
- Create and maintain the product roadmap. Including identification and management of project milestones and risks.
- Chair the requirements forum, managing the input from the identified business champions and use this forum to arrive at a common strategy for each item in the backlog

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Fixed Income product knowledge
- Proven experience as a business analyst in an international / investment bank and / or a major consulting firm within financial services
- Detailed understanding of Regulatory requirements specific to the electronic markets (e.g. MIFID2)
- Experience in gathering and modelling requirements and writing functional specifications. Ensuring that there is no gap in understanding the requirements.
- Experience working with Jira in an agile environment.
- Experience working with test teams to ensure acceptance criteria meet the needs of the business.
- Understanding of the agile development/software life cycle
- high level of English
