- Hours: 9:00am-1:00pm in person in St. Pere de Ribes, Garraf (Barcelona area).
**ROLE DESCRIPTION**
As a Middle Years Learning Guide, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing transformative learning experiences. You will co-create the Middle Years Program in our new location St. Pere de Ribes that nurtures a love for learning and equips students with essential skills for success. Additionally, you will help us create a positive culture of learning in a new location.
**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Lead Program Design**:Co-design and lead a comprehensive program for 10 to 14-year-olds, integrating literacy, numeracy, and transdisciplinary learning experiences. Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop innovative, student-centered curriculum.
- **Learning Space Development**:Oversee the design and development of engaging learning environments tailored to the needs of middle years learners.
- **Parent Communication**:Serve as a key point of contact for communication with parents, providing regular updates on student progress and program developments.
- **Collaborative Teamwork**: Work collaboratively within a cross-functional, agile team to develop and refine learning experiences. Participate in training sessions and coaching to support continuous professional growth.
**REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- **Educational Expertise**: Experience working with 10 to 14 year-olds in innovative learning environments. Demonstrated ability to connect with students and build trusting relationships.
- **Teaching Certificate**:Officially recognised in Spain or another country for upper primary or lower secondary with a certificated teaching license.
- **Special Needs**:Experience with Learning Differences is a plus.
- **Innovative Mindset**:Capacity to draw from a wide range of learning methodologies and adapt them to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- **Agile Collaboration**: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment, embracing challengesas an opportunity for growth and iteration.
