We are looking for experienced Early Years and Primary Teachers to join the British School of Barcelona (BSB) as part of Cognita Schools. This full‑time permanent role offers the opportunity to deliver innovative curriculum and be part of a rapidly expanding, internationally diverse community. About the School – The British School of Barcelona (BSB) The British School of Barcelona is an outstanding HMC school accredited by BSO, serving over 2000 pupils from more than 74 nationalities. It offers the English National Curriculum, GCSEs, A Levels and the International Baccalaureate Diploma, alongside a rich enrichment programme. In 2026 BSB will expand with a new campus at Maresme, enrolling students from Nursery to Year 13 by 2028. About the Role This position requires flexibility, innovation and a commitment to high safeguarding standards. You will work across curriculum areas, support whole‑school priorities and collaborate with colleagues to deliver an engaging learning environment. Responsibilities Deliver a stimulating, student‑centred curriculum for Early Years and Primary students. Create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom culture and manage behaviour. Use formative and summative assessment to monitor progress and inform teaching. Collaborate with colleagues on whole‑school priorities and enrichment activities. Maintain the highest safeguarding standards and promote the welfare of pupils. Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to a learning community. Qualifications £Bachelor’s degree and QTS (or international equivalent). Significant experience teaching Primary. Strong communication skills and growth mindset. Resilience and flexibility to thrive in a fast‑paced, start‑up environment. Self‑starter, able to work independently and as part of a team.
