Supervisor Crew Optimization

**Job Purpose**

The position will be responsible for the optimizations of both the pilot and the cabin crew, to guarantee a reliable and timely operation & grant all crew bookings (Hotels & positional flights) required, for the day of operation. To identify operational risk, make sure that there are solid plans to mitigate them; will be the link between Crew Rostering and Crew Control.

Will be responsible of Crew D4 team & Crew Travel team.

**Main Responsibilities - Tasks**
- Responsible Crew Management from D-4 to deliver rosters into the day of operation, granting crew rosters delivery into the day of operations with right robustness levels to achieve on time performance target.
- Responsible for identifying risks to the delivery of the operating plan and to ensure that appropriate mitigation is taken to minimize the impact of risks.
- Rigorously monitor crews’ performance, noting trends, identifying point requiring improvement, and responsible of feedback loop with Roster team.
- Present operational data as required at cross-functional meetings the effect of product and schedule changes on the operation.
- To optimize the resources to achieve maximum efficiency of the Schedule, having in mind the volume of routes to be covered and available Crew members.
- To report to Manager Crew Operations and Responsible for Rostering department about any incident of the operation that affects crew scheduling.
- Assess robustness (or quality / delivery) of the crew rosters, feeding back opportunities for performance improvement into future season planning.
- Active role with key interfaces: Crew Planning, Crew Operations, Pilot and Cabin Crew Department, Training, Tactical Planner and Airline Readiness area.
- Responsible of Crew Travel team granting all crew bookings (Hotels & positional flights) required, for the day of operation.
- Grant a right crew management culture from Crew D4 and Crew travel teams.
- Lead and develop the team, ensure that they have the knowledge, skills and motivation to perform high standards.

**Main Relationships**

The main relationship for Planning with: Pairings, Roster and Crew Tracking. For grant execution with: IOCC Operational Manager, Duty Pilots & Cabin Crew, Crew Control Team Leaders, Flight Operations and Cabin Crew Department & Crew travel suppliers.

**Education**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Science-based or Similar.

**Experience**
- Proven experience min 5 years in an Airline Operations.

**Competencies**
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills in an operational context.
- Evidence of ownership for project delivery and delegation with clear responsibilities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to read, write & fluently speak both the Spanish & English languages.
- Knowledge in crew limitations and restrictions.
- Ability to work make decisions autonomously.
- Able to manage, motivate and influence positive work behaviours in the team.
- Superior organizational skills and the ability to follow through. Attention to details.
