**Job Purpose**

Lead continuously the optimization of supplier costs (80% of costs are external), improving performance and at the same time ensuring compliance with the contractual obligations of suppliers, in accordance with IAG guidelines, contributing to the company transformation.

**Main Accountabilities**
- Optimize costs and supplier performance
- Ensure compliance with savings and performance of suppliers.
- Promote the transformation of Vueling through the action of suppliers
- Ensure compliance with savings and performance of suppliers
- Make the department managed a better place to work
- Fulfill the mission of the job if it is in the employee´s hand.

**Main Responsibilities - Tasks**
- Define the Action Plan based on a Categories identifying, quantifying and prioritizing short
- and medium-term savings initiatives.
- Categorize suppliers in Airports, Maintenance and OEMS and monitor strategic and critical suppliers in a special way, including GBS initiatives
- Transform by changing requirements to external providers and maintaining
or increasing performance
- Define, plan and follow the mitigation actions in suppliers in case of deviation from the plans
- Organize and manage the team, promoting their development, teamwork
and communication, between their collaborators and the rest of the Company
- Perform any other responsibility or function that is assigned inherent to the
job.

**Main Relationships**
- IAG, Manufacturers, Operations, Finance, Legal

**Education**
- Bachelor's degree, engineering will be valued
- Master in Finance

**Experience**
- Experience in aircraft maintenance or manufacturer or airline operations - 10 years in total

**Languages**
- English C1
- Spanish C1
