Major tasks and responsibilities of position:

- You develop tailored but re-usable strategic frameworks and methodologies for core procurement fields (e.g. supplier segmentation and management) and drive implementation in the procurement function incl targeted organisational change efforts.
- You Disseminate knowledge in the form of best practices, market intelligence, and external thought leadership.
- You strategically be responsible for the PRO Market Intelligence portfolio encouraging informed decision-making in category management.
- By close collaboration you strategically steer our Market Intelligence providers ensuring a fit to PRO demands and striving for digitalization.
- You identify and work towards complexity reduction and exercise governance to generate value for the procurement function.
- You encourage and facilitate effective cross category best practices to enable learning and continuous improvement.

Who you are
- Curious to learn and actively developing yourself.
- Strong influencing and engagement skills across cultures and functions, enjoying working in a global and virtual working environment.
- 10+ years of Procurement Experience with deep understanding of procurement principles and Procurement operating model(s), ideally in multiple categories.
- Experience in leading organisational change efforts across a global function with multi-national operations.
- Excellent communication skills capable of communicating sophisticated topics in simple & understandable ways via live presentations or written communications at all levels of the organization.
- Advanced project management skills capable of crafting and implementing a structurally sound project approach to drive initiatives forward.
- Ability to optimally deal with ambiguity by aligning on clear goals and targets with stakeholders at different levels.
- Critical Thinking & Planning. Specifically, the ability to assess as-is situation, identify solution options for a target state, and map out a path to achieve the desired future target.
