We are seeking a talented, experienced and customer obsessed Senior Procurement Manager who has the passion to tackle ambiguous and challenging problems by inventing new ways to solve them.
At the core of the position is defining global Source to Pay policies within the Global Procurement Operations (GPO) organization, standardizing the end to end processes and methods, developing and establishing best in class standards and practices through continuous improvement and innovation, delivering the best customer experience.
This position involves regular communication with senior management on progress, risks and change control. Ability to steer extended cross-discipline virtual teams as well as project management and executive presentation skills are essential.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead end to end Source to Pay policies and processes: from identifying the key business challenges, defining Global Policy Handbook, designing the right processes and methods
- Maintain and continuously improve Source to Pay policies and processes performance, to deliver the desired strategic outputs and business objectives
- Identify key business challenges to be solved through digitalization and contribute to overall GPO digitalization strategy and roadmap
- Engage business stakeholders and key partners (such as Innovation, Tech teams) to dive into existing policies and processes and define the future state of Source to Pay value chain
- Lead change management and adoption of the new policies and processes across the procurement function and business stakeholders
- Regular communication with senior management on progress, risks and change control
- Extensive hands-on experience in the end-to-end Source to Pay processes of large-scale organizations
- Proven record of successfully driving process improvement and digital transformation programs in large procurement organizations
- Strong oral and written communication skills as well as ability to think clearly, analyse quantitatively, problem-solve, scope requirements and prioritize tasks
- Ability to comfortably and confidently present and influence all levels within the organisation, and to work with both technical and non-technical teams
- Results oriented person with a strong delivery focus who can work independently and collaboratively with global teams
- Strong analytical skills including the ability to quickly synthesize, distil and draw conclusions on large amounts of data
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
