The role of the **Team Leader Data Scientist** has the following accountabilities:

- To ensure the delivery and impact of ML/AI projects.
- Interact with stakeholders and internal customers to understand the business problems and opportunities and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Incorporate requirements and features in solution designs.
- Use machine learning and analytical techniques to create solutions to business problems.
- Evaluate options for new AI/ML-based solutions and services.
- Help and support the Big Data team in ensuring that AI/ML solutions have business impact.
- Coordinate and support cross-functional projects and functions associated to Big Data: Providers/vendors relationship PoC definitions project management communication with business/stakeholders etc.
- Data scientists teams leadership and development.
- Provide input on the strategic direction of technology investments to assist in the development of AI-driven projects and maximise the return on technology investment.
- Spread the Big Data fingerprint within VF across all the different areas: Digital Marketing etc.
- Take ownership of the KPIs and different reports associated to Big Data team: Group reports local/group KPIs etc.
- Between 3-5 direct reports.
**What you bring**:

- Technical decree on Computer Science telecommunications or similar.
- Postgraduate degree on Big Data Analytics business management or similar.
