WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
PagoNxt Merchant is looking for a Product Functional Architect, within the Value Proposition Team, based in Boadilla del Monte (Headquarters).

PagoNxt is a new company wholly owned by Santander that incorporates our most disruptive payments & trade businesses into a single, autonomous company, creating one of the largest private fintech companies in the world. This new company will deliver payment & trade solutions for merchants and consumers with compelling technology to become a leading global payments provider in the medium term.
In order to achieve these goal, PagoNxt is organized in three different business:
- Merchant Solutions, for merchants and acquirers.
- Trade Solutions, for corporates and SMEs.
- Consumer Solutions, digital products and services for individuals.
This role will be part of our PagoNxt Merchant Solutions team and will be responsible for building a global, open merchant payment platform and consolidate Santander as an acquiring world leader.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As a Product Functional Architect you will report to the Value Proposition and Business Support team in the HQ, in close cooperation with PNMS local teams, you will be responsible of defining products and services customer journeys and solution design definition.
We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:
- Analyzing new product and country requirements to be included in the platform with Product Managers and local countries Business teams
- Ensure consistency across products components optimizing products parametrization capabilities and building and maintaining a Global Product Catalogue
- Bridge between product and development teams in order to refine requirements, solution designs and user stories
- Build end to end processes for each product, defining impacts in all platform modules and components
- Document processes and journeys so that knowledge can easily be shared across all organization and markets
- Coordinate with third parties globally and locally for the above-mentioned tasks
- It is not a technology position, but requires understanding on development flows and technology tools that will be used to deploy products and processes.

EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Payment gateways, transaction flows, value-added services around merchants and payments, from the business and technical sides
- Customer focused & business oriented
- Processes and business flows design and documentation
- Language skills - Fluent in English and Spanish
