Tasks

**As DevOps engineer, your tasks will be**:

- Mentoring/Advising the teams in DevOps culture creating and maintaining DevOps-related documentation.
- Participating and approving code reviews/demos of DevOps-related matters.
- Maintaining common Nuvolar resources (Nexus, AWS, security, HTTPS certificates).
- Being responsible for our infrastructure operations / SRE:

- Cloud environment maintenance: E.g. maintain AWS security groups, IAM and BB users (when someone leaves the company).
- Infrastructure expense control and optimization: E.g.Try to reduce the cloud services bill (reserved instances, adjust resources...)
- Set up and monitor alerting and logging in all our production infrastructure.

**Requirements**:

- Experience with AWS - EC2, S3, Lambda, EKS, IAM, API GW.
- Knowledge of Bash and Linux.
- Knowledge of GCP - Kubernetes engine.
- Experience with Git (Gitflow), (Helm, Kustomize, ArgoCD), Docker.
- Used to working with a microservices architecture.
- Experience with CI/CD patterns, Terraform and Grafana.
- High organizational skills.
- Ability to estimate, prioritize, organise, and deliver tasks on time and with the required quality standards.
- Familiarity with Agile Software Development Methodologies: Retrospective, Groomings & Kickoff, Stand ups, Demos.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English.

Here is a sneak peek of what can you expect from our recruitment process:
**1st step**: Phone call with our Talent Acquisition team

During this first phone call, we want to meet you and understand your expectations in terms of career plan, what motivates you, and give you an overview of the role and Nuvolar's work environment.

**2nd step**: Technical test

If the first phone call goes well, we will invite you to move forward and solve a technical challenge based on role and experience and assessed by our technical team.

**3rd step**: Cultural fit interview

After passing the technical test, it’s time for a face-to-face meeting (online) so we can meet each other and lay out everything we can offer you and what you can bring to our Nuvofamily so that we can succeed together If we’re on the same page, we move straight to the last step.

**4th step**: Technical Interview with the team

A technical discussion around the exercise to better understand your skills and an introduction to the Tech Lead and other team members to give you a better idea of Nuvolar's team culture and so you can meet some potential future colleagues.
