Voice Group (GVG) is a multi-national, multi-cultural organization providing
state-of-the-art ICT and telecommunications solutions primarily to government,
regulatory agencies. The nature of the job may require occasional travelling to
client sites. At GVG, customer experience is at the forefront of everything we
do. To help us build functional systems that improve customer experience we are
now looking for an enthusiastic and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our
deploying product updates, identifying production issues and implementing
integrations that meet our customers' needs.
Tareas
- Deploy software updates and fixes
- Provide Level 2 technical support
- Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
- Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems
- Perform root cause analysis for production errors
- Investigate and resolve technical issues
- Develop scripts to automate visualization
- Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teammates to understand customer requirements, come up with solutions, and ship iterations on a daily basis.
- Tackle a wide variety of technical problems throughout the stack and contribute to all parts of our product code base.
- Shape and improve engineering culture, standards, tooling, and processes.
- Help build a successful business that does well by doing good.
**Requisitos**:
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience of 2 years is required
- Experience (3+ years) as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
- Proficient with git and git workflows
- Working knowledge of relational databases such as MYSQL or POSTGRES
- Combining an understanding of both engineering and coding
- Experience integrating third-party APIs.
- Knowledge or experience in telecoms infrastructure is an advantage
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills. Collaborative team
