We are looking for an innovative **Trainee, Data Analyst** to support the following activities: selection and the identification, tracking and implementation of cost-saving actions to meet the year-on-year productivity targets for the respective category using global benchmarking in order to leverage spending and optimize purchasing synergy.

This position is based in Zaragoza, Spain and reports to the Category Manager, Control Systems and Electrics.

**Main tasks and responsibilities**:

- Supporting the global sourcing team in the Identification, development and execution of the sourcing activities across whole-Hiab spending to optimize the use of Hiab/Cargotec resources over the E2E product lifecycle addressing strategic commercial sourcing requirements, supplier preferencing, securing early focus on service and end-of-life requirements, supplier consolidation and pipeline to secure continuity of supply and emerging business needs
- As assigned by the Sourcing Manager will be involved in the Complexity Reduction Program to speed up the supplier consolidation and part number standardization with the support of local R&D
- Participation in the New Product Development, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) activities when assigned, will collect information to support the sourcing manager to generate productivity, total cost reduction makes/buy programs, should-cost modeling, and business process and system implementation
- When assigned the sourcing manager will collect information to support Hiab-wide RFQ preparation, analysis and negotiation
- Commercial participation in supplier assessments in conjunction with Supplier Development
- Define and reach targets for Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Innovation in the category
- Support the Sourcing manager in collecting and preparing information in order to development of supplier risk mitigation programs to ensure minimized disruption within category and business line.

**What you’ll need to succeed**:
**Education**:

- Electrical Degree Level or Equivalent.

**Experience**:
Desirable but not Mandatory:

- Some industrial experience
- Experience in using ERP systems.

**Competencies**:

- Electrical Engineer Education
- Excellent communication, cooperation and influencing skills when working with different departments internally within Hiab and Cargotec and externally with different suppliers
- Google package experience or MS Office
- Fluent English.
